Facilities
GCEG has a licence to use the ground which is part of the Mt Larcom Show Society premises. Over the years, the club has improved these grounds to now include two 60m x 20m sand arenas, an office/canteen complex and storage shipping container.
The club's warm up area consists of a sand area as well as a large flat grassed area. The complex has camping facilities consisting of hot showers and toilets, stables and covered yards for horses and wash bays. A cost is involved to the Mount Larcom Show Society for camping and water use charges.
With the assistance of grants from Gambling Benefit Fund and RACQ, the club rebuilt the arenas to provide superior surfaces and there has been several Gambling Benefit Fund grants since to purchase other essential equipment.
For the past several years, the club has been very thankful to the support of Bendigo Bank and Gladstone Regional Council for sponsorship of our major championship event of the year.
